Danfoss Power Solutions, a leading global supplier of mobile and industrial hydraulics as well as electric powertrain systems, today announced the launch of its SLP13 two-way two-position poppet-type solenoid valve, a low-power, low-pressure-drop solution for compact equipment.

Engineered specifically for bearing temperature measurements, Danfoss’ robust bearing temperature sensors ensure reliable operation, long-lasting performance, and the ultimate accuracy, even in the most demanding environments. Danfoss now boasts one broadest programs of insight-driven temperature sensors and transmitters.

Danfoss Power Solutions’ Editron division and Webasto Group have officially announced a strategic partnership at Bauma 2022. The partnership will see both companies combining their expertise to deliver prevalidated solutions to the off-highway market.

Global hydraulics and electric powertrain systems supplier Danfoss Power Solutions has secured a grant worth £407,112 (approximately $450,000) from the U.K. government to accelerate the electrification of construction machinery.

Construction machinery, such as excavators, is notorious for being inefficient, swallowing vast amounts of diesel, very little of which is converted to productive work. The construction industry accounted for a total of 20% of global energy-related carbon emissions in 2020. Today, the solutions are already there to drastically improve fuel efficiency in heavy construction machines, while more compact machines can be fully electrified.

Danfoss Power Solutions’ Editron division has provided the drivetrains powering two new fully electric Doosan excavators. Electrauvision, a division of Danfoss’ partner Hydrauvison, is supplying the Danfoss drivetrains to Electric Construction Equipment (ECE), which has a license agreement with Doosan to modify the firm’s equipment for European dealers.

Danfoss’ Editron division has collaborated with Junttan, the leading manufacturer of hydraulic pile driving rigs, to help deliver the world’s first battery-powered, fully electric pile driving rig. The hydraulic system of the first eJunttan, PMx2e, rig is controlled by an Editron electric motor that generates power from a battery pack.

Danfoss Power Solutions has partnered with Carnegie Robotics to strengthen its portfolio of autonomous products and solutions.
