Demag Mobile Cranes is a renowned manufacturer of mobile cranes, offering a comprehensive range of all-terrain, crawler, and tower cranes. With a legacy spanning over a century, Demag provides lifting solutions that combine innovative technology with robust engineering to meet the diverse needs of construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Their cranes are recognized for their precision, efficiency, and versatility, enabling safe and effective lifting operations across various sectors. Demag's commitment to quality and customer support has solidified its position as a leader in the global crane industry.
In the year of its 75th anniversary, Dutch crane service provider Hovago has treated itself to a special kind of gift and ordered no fewer than nine cranes from Tadano: three AC 5.220-1 and two AC 5.250-1 all terrain cranes, two GTC-1800EX telescopic crawler cranes and two CC 38.650-1 lattice boom crawler cranes.
The Demag® AC 160-5 is no stranger to the fleet operated by the Crane Norway Group, which includes crane service provider Nordic Crane Midt-Norge AS: “We already have several cranes of this model in our fleet. In terms of performance and reliability, they leave nothing to be desired. That’s why we decided to get a Demag AC 160-5 once more,” explains Crane Norway Group General Manager Trond Helge Skretting.
The people at Weiland see the merger between Tadano and Demag as an extremely positive development: “The idea of combining the best of both worlds is obviously yielding fruit, and that’s part of why we decided to buy the Demag® AC 60-3,” explains Sebastian Degenhardt, the son of Weiland Managing Director Volker Degenhardt and future head of the company.
At least since 2017, the people at Italian crane service provider Autovictor have known that Demag cranes are characterized by unbeatable long-term quality: That year, the company acquired a used Demag® TC 2800-1 lattice boom truck crane that continues to do its job with enormous reliability to this day.
Nordhausen-based Maximum Kran- und Schwerlastlogistik took delivery of its second Demag® AC 45 City. The crane was part of a “bulk order” by the MAXIKraft Group, covering a total of four of these cranes for its subsidiaries Treffler and Maximum, who each received two units.
Crane service provider SVEA didn’t need to let its brand new Demag® AC 250-5 get used to the climate in the United Arab Emirates first: Instead, the crane was sent to take care of a project in Downtown Dubai shortly after being delivered.
If you look for a Tadano or Demag crane in the fleets of any of the five companies that make up western Spanish crane service provider Caba Elevación, you will find one pretty quickly: In 2016, Grúas Pacheco put a Demag® AC 160-5 into operation, Eurogrúas Parra did the same with a Tadano® ATF 130G-5 in 2018, and now Eurocaba 3000 has done the same with a Demag AC 100-4L.
Unique operating conditions require unique approaches – this phrase perfectly sums up the project currently being carried out by crane service provider Sarens NV with a Demag® PC 6800‑1 pedestal crane. The job, which involves a whole series of challenges, consists of lifting 89 steel piles from a barge on The IJsselmeer on behalf of customer Van Oord Offshore Wind.
Bietigheim-Bissingen-based crane service provider Wiesbauer ordered two AC 45 City cranes at the Demag Three-Axle Demo Days event last October, and has now followed that up with a Demag® CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane.
