Demag CC 3800-1 lifts new stand at football stadium

It was certainly a great moment for the fans of FC Metz when the enormous steel structures, weighing up to 242 tonnes, of the new south stand in the club's stadium were lifted and assembled. A job that the construction company responsible, DEMATHIEU BARD, together with COSTANTINI, entrusted to MARTIFER the manufacturer of the structure. The lift itself was performed by crane service provider Sarens using its Demag® CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane, since it had all the prerequisites to perform this sporting feat.

Demag AC 45 City lifts precast panels inside shop floor

Constrained spaces often make indoor projects a tricky proposition – especially when unwieldy loads need to be lifted. And this was exactly the case for the Merkel Autokrane GmbH job in January inside a production facility for precast concrete elements run by FTO Fertigteilwerk Obermain. In order to install a noise barrier with large concrete panels, Merkel decided to use the new Demag® AC 45 City, which is a perfect match for precisely this type of job.

Demag presents a compact hoist which, with its smart control system, makes assembly and, above all, joining processes even simpler and safer

The DCBS is a variable-speed chain hoist based on the proven DCS range. It has a perfect command of the usual tasks of this hoist. The operator actuates the D-Grip Servo control handle, and the load with a maximum weight of 160 kg is raised or lowered by an electric motor.

Auto-Klug takes delivery of Demag AC 45 City

The decision in favor of the Demag® AC 45 City was easy for the crane service provider Auto-Klug, headquartered in Hof, Bavaria: "After we had already had the best experience with our five Demag AC 40 City cranes, it was a foregone conclusion that we would purchase the successor model," reports Matthias Kallinich, crane operator at Auto-Klug’s location in Zwickau, Saxony who picked up the new machine in Zweibrücken. The crane was handed over by Demag Sales Manager Thomas Keckeis.

Demag CC 3800-1 lifts bridge element

Time was the decisive factor for this lift: Crane service provider Wiesbauer had exactly 100 hours to lift, on behalf of Metzingen-based construction company Gottlob Brodbeck, a reinforced concrete bridge element for a railroad overpass in Rottenburg-Kiebingen in Southern Germany. Since the crane had to move under load, which weighed over 400 tonnes, the company decided to use the Demag® CC 3800-1 crawler crane, which not only had the needed lifting capacity, but also the required level of reliability.
