CESAR announces 600,000th Protected Machine

On 15th June 2023 at the UK's premier plant machinery show, Plantworx in Peterborough, the announcement of CESAR’s 600,000th protected machine was made. Suneeta Johal, CEO of show hosts, the Construction Equipment Association, was on hand to present to MANITOU a symbolic CESAR ID plate numbered 600,000.

CEA: UK Imports and Exports of Construction and Earthmoving equipment, Q2 2022 

In the second quarter of 2022, imports and exports of construction and earthmoving equipment both recorded increases on Q1 levels in £ value and tonnage shipped terms. In £ value terms, trade was at the highest quarterly levels for both since 2013, when monitoring of trade has been recorded.

In the first quarter of 2022, imports and exports of construction and earthmoving equipment both recorded very high levels of trade, but showed different patterns compared with the previous quarter. Imports showed an exceptional 54% increase on the previous quarter and matched the “record” quarterly level seen in Q2 last year, since trade has been monitored from 2013.
