The IRN ranking by International Rental News magazine is a regular appointment that checks every year the state of the art of the equipment rental industry by presenting the hundred firms that have recorded the best results worldwide in terms of turnover.

In the 2022 ranking Mollo Noleggio ranks among the "near misses", companies that come close to entering the top 100 positions and therefore, only for a minimal difference, did not reach the top 100 despite having excellent results.

The Alba-based company ranks in 115th place, with a turnover of 85 million euros, which also makes it one of the top 50 European names.

“Being among the names of the IRN rankings is a pride for Mollo Noleggio. We are not in the top 100, but we are close. Looking to the future, we hope to be able to climb a few more positions next year; our goal for 2022 is to exceed 100 million annual turnover”, states Mauro Mollo, President of Mollo Noleggio.

The company established in 1971 in Alba (Italy) is the most important Italian operator in the rental of machinery and equipment for construction, industry, agriculture and events. Its turnover is entirely generated by activities and initiatives related to rent. From the rent of vehicles to specialized services such as the rental of construction cranes and portable toilets, from training courses with issuing of licenses to workshop and maintenance activities, everything is done according to the core business of the company: the rental. However, the IRN ranking also includes companies that are also dealers or construction companies.

"It would be necessary to separate, in rankings, two distinct areas: dealers who sell and rent and, on the other side, companies focused on rental only. These are two different professions and it would be very important to highlight it, you cannot mix the turnover of a dealer who rents to sell and the turnover of a pure rental company that buys goods, rents them and sells them at the end of their life” underlines Mauro Mollo.

The turnover with which the Mollo Group has climbed the rankings comes entirely from rental. "We are not dealers of any brand by choice and, in the 85 million of our turnover, there is a sales value of used vehicles that does not exceed one and a half million" specifies the President.

Apart from the rankings, Mollo is confirmed to be the first Italian group not only in terms of turnover, but also in terms of size, number of branches (49 in 2021, of which 45 Mollo Noleggio centers, 3 Mollo Servizi centers specialized in rental with operator and 1 Mollogru center), number of employees with 420 employees, fleet of vehicles, products handled and range span. Mollo's rental fleet features 9,000 pieces of equipment, customers are over 16,000 for over 62,000 rental contracts per year.

The company's positioning in the IRN 2022 ranking honors the entire sector and the Italian country. In fact, Mollo Noleggio still represents an Italian reality in a sector that was entered in recent years by several foreign companies.

The company stands out in the national scene for its dynamism towards growth, the constant investments in customer service and employee training, the continuous renewal of its machinery fleets and the attention towards technological innovation.
