  • The event is the opportunity to present the Group's innovation strategy focused on electrification, automation and digitalization to ensure increasingly safer technological solutions with minimal environmental impact;
  • Tesmec’s participation aims to increase the Group’s presence in the European market through innovative and sustainable solutions in line with the Group’s ESG priorities;
  • Bauma is the world’s leading trade fair for the industry and, with 614,000 square meters of exhibition space, is also the largest trade fair in the world in terms of exhibition space.

Tesmec S.p.A, company at the head of a leading group in the market for infrastructure technologies (overhead, underground and railways) for the transport of electricity, data and materials (oil and derivates, gas and water), as well as surface mining and quarrying technologies, will welcome visitors to the 33rd edition of Bauma, the world’s leading trade fair dedicated to construction machinery, building materials, mining, construction vehicles and construction equipment, scheduled from 24 to 30 October at the Trade Fair Center Messe München in Munich, Germany.

The Group will attend with an exhibition stand of 400 square metres, in which it will present its integrated solutions for cable laying, survey and digital mapping (digitization of the output and working environment), for the excavation and burial of cables trencher and for underground stringing.

In particular, the Group will present new products, solutions, and business models under the banner of Digital Transformation, with a focus on sustainable global approach, from electric and hybrid power units to renewable energy projects, from predictive diagnostics to cybersecurity, from the automation of solutions to their electrification, from artificial intelligence to the Internet of Things, with a view to a global transformation of the energy industry, focusing on distributed generation, smart grids and alternative sources.

The great news of this edition of Bauma fits into this framework: e-Sidecut, the first Tesmec full electric trencher concept with 55kW of maximum power (<1T) designed for the implementation of fiber optic networks in an urban environment. In the range of the Group's sustainable solutions, also the new generation PE1150 machine will be presented, a full electric solution for underground cable laying, with zero emissions and no noise. Furthermore, at Bauma, Tesmec will promote an innovative integrated system of mobile mapping and high-precision digital 3D survey for an increasingly safe and efficient management of the construction site.

Tesmec’s participation at Bauma 2022 is, therefore, under the banner of digitisation, sustainability and energy transition, key themes in the Group’s growth strategy, with the aim of increasing its presence in the European market through integrated, innovative and sustainable solutions to build the networks of the future, in line with the Group’s ESG priorities.

At this year’s Bauma, the 33rd edition, are expected more than 3,100 exhibitors from all over the world, which will be spread over a total of 614,000 square metres (equal to about 86 football pitches), divided into 414,000 square metres of outdoor space and 200,000 square metres of space inside the halls. With these numbers, Bauma is the largest trade fair in the world in terms of exhibition space and, as leading global event, brings together the key players of an increasingly decisive industry in world economies, offering a comprehensive overview of future trends and themes.

“Energy infrastructures are the most important factor in sustainable development, and we confirm our desire to be one of the key players in this era of green and digital transition. Once again, this year, Bauma will be an opportunity to present the Group's innovative technological solutions, which are geared towards continually improving performance, reducing the carbon footprint, and ensuring the highest safety standards.
