DITEC GMBH BAUMASCHINEN ANNOUNCED AS NEW SALES PARTNER FOR HYUNDAI

Founded in 1993 and with its headquarters in Haiger, central Hesse, DiTec covers a sales area bordered by the Rheingau-Taunus District to the south and the High Sauerland District to the north. The westernmost point is Bonn while the eastern boundary is the Fulda District. Frank Schmenn and Rainer Baum head up the 70-strong company which comprises a service centre, showroom, headquarters and a customer service workshop at its 27,000 square metre site in the Haiger Industrial Park. DiTec has been a member of the Partnerverbund Pyramide GmbH since 2003 and of MIETEplus since 2019 – a co-operative network with more than 40 sites across Germany from which customers can hire construction equipment.

A future-focused partnership
Speaking about the new partnership, Frank Schmenn said: “Right from the very start, the positive reputation, the competitive product range and the very professional approach from Hyundai were what won me over.” Not only that, but he was also impressed by hi-tech themes such as hydrogen-based propulsion and considers Hyundai to be a technical ground-breaker with a clear focus on user requirements. Some of the best proof of this is the fuel cell equipment that will be market-ready in just a few years. Following the BAUMA trade fair, DiTec is now taking delivery of the latest generation Hyundai crawler and wheeled excavators which will be put to use right away for demonstrations.

Expanding horizons

TThis news follows on from the appointments of BSS Heavy Machinery in Finowfurt and Mörtlbauer in Passau, as Hyundai Construction Equipment continues to expand its dealer network across the German-speaking region of Europe. A new trading partner will also be appointed in Thuringia in early 2023.
