  • LTM 1300-6.3 ideal for high loads with increasing radius
  • 300 tonnes: new addition provides customer with even greater load capacities

The manoeuvrable chassis, variable ballast radius and flexible support technology were decisive factors for Kranverleih Haslach GmbH when choosing its new Liebherr mobile crane. “The expansion of our crane fleet was a long and well-considered step, which was only possible with our long-standing and well-trained team. The team made it easier for us to choose the LTM 1300-6.3, which meets all our requirements,” says Managing Director Roland Haslach. Its 90-metre telescopic boom sets new standards in its class. In addition to VarioBallast® and VarioBase®, the 6-axle crane also features ECOmode and ECOdrive, Auto-Ballast and Windspeed Load Charts.

High loads with increasing radius
The Allgäu-based crane hire company works extensively in the field of prefabricated concrete construction as well as machine loading and construction crane assembly. In these areas, ever higher loads are required with increasing radius, while at the same time conditions on the construction sites are becoming ever tighter. “Thanks to its long, 8-section main boom, we can already achieve great lifting heights and enormous load capacities with an extension of 46 per cent per telescopic section,” says Haslach. “The manoeuvrable chassis is also practical for operations in our mountainous region.”

Another advantage is the quick assembly and disassembly, as no guying of the crane is necessary. On public roads, the LTM 1300-6.3 carries its complete telescopic boom with a twelve-tonne axle load. “Because it has few accessories, it can be moved quickly from site to site. That’s what we appreciate about our new crane,” says Haslach. The new LTM 1300-6.3 joins eight other Liebherr cranes in the crane rental company’s portfolio – from 2-axle to 6-axle machines with lifting capacities from 40 to 300 tonnes, Haslach thus offers a wide range of services via its mobile crane fleet.

Family business with over 40 years of experience
“Our family business was founded in the 1980s by Hermann Haslach and his sons Ludwig and Eugen. Since then, our company has grown steadily,” reports Tobias Haslach. The crane hire company’s fleet now consists of an AK 50B, LTM 1040-2.1, LTM 1060-3.1, LTM 1070-4.1, LTM 1150-5.1, LTM 1230-5.1, two LTM 1130-5.1s and the new flagship LTM 1300-6.3.

In 2020, Kranverleih Haslach GmbH entered its second generation of family ownership when Eugen Haslach’s sons Tobias and Roland took the reins. With its twelve-strong team and employees who have been with the firm for between two and 43 years, the company is ideally positioned to meet the requirements of its customers.
