Norwegian logistics provider Tyrholm & Farstad AS has ordered a Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane for their new Flatholmen terminal in Ålesund, with delivery scheduled for Q2 2024, to expand capacity and reduce carbon emissions.

The 8 Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes will be delivered to a new container terminal at Puerto Antioquia, Colombia, that will provide new export and import power for the regional economy of Antioquia and Colombia as a whole. The order was booked in August 2023.

Port Houston in Texas has ordered 5 Konecranes hybrid RTGs for its Barbours Cut Container Terminal to support its long-term improvement program covering channel development and land infrastructure investment.

With this new crane, Zuidnatie aims to build more capacity while lowering emissions and improving energy efficiency.

Konecranes won an order for two Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Cranes from PAS, to be delivered in Q4 2023.

In March 2023, the Port of Trelleborg received a Konecranes intermodal reach stacker for trailer and container handling at their intermodal terminal on the southern coast of Sweden. This new lift truck replaces an older unit that has reached the end of its service life.

Konecranes has acquired the business in industrial cranes, nuclear power cranes and crane services from Whiting Corporation.

The order, which is Konecranes’ largest-ever for RTGs, was booked in Q1 2023 and deliveries will take place in 2024 and 2025.

To update their existing fleet at their terminal in Savona, northern Italy, the Campostano Group has ordered a Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane for general cargo and bulk material handling.
