Mexican terminal operator Grupo CICE (Corporación Integral de Comercio Exterior S.A. de C.V.) has ordered an eco-efficient Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane for their terminal in the Port of Veracruz on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico.

Flinders Adelaide Container Terminal (FACT) in South Australia has ordered three more Konecranes Noell Straddle Carriers to keep their fleet of 22 Konecranes Noell Straddle Carriers technologically up-to-date. The order was booked in Q2 2021 and the machines will be delivered in March 2022.

The Port of Felixstowe (Felixstowe), operated by Hutchison Ports, has ordered 17 Automated Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes (ARTGs) from Konecranes. The order was booked in Q4 2021. The ARTGs will be delivered and commissioned in a project covering 3 phases starting in Q2 2023. Completion and go-live is scheduled for Q4 2025. The new ARTGs will be fully electric, powered by busbars, and delivered as carbon neutral.

Port of Blyth, one of the UK’s leading offshore energy support bases, has ordered an eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald ESP.6 Mobile Harbor Crane for the newly refurbished Bates Clean Energy Terminal in the North East of England. Booked in October 2021, the crane is scheduled for fully erected delivery in April 2022 and will be the first Generation 6 crane to be delivered to the UK.

Konecranes was chosen for a $58.6 million modernization project for a major power utility in the United States. The utility has two polar reactor cranes in two different facilities that are in need of upgrades due to plant extensions.

Terminal San Giorgio S.r.l. (TSG) has ordered an eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald ESP.8 Mobile Harbor Crane for its terminal in Genoa, Italy. Booked in November 2021, it is going to be the very first Generation 6 crane in Italy. It will be delivered in June 2022.

Busan New Container Terminal (BCNT) currently operates a fleet of 36 Konecranes Noell Sprinter Carriers and is ordering six more to support a growing business.

In November 2021, The Absolut Company (Absolut) accepted the delivery of a Flow Drive Konecranes reach stacker for their operations in the south of Sweden. This particular machine is a milestone in Konecranes history, as it is the ten thousandth lift truck to roll off the production line.
