VIA MOBILE360 HEAVY EQUIPMENT SAFETY SYSTEM AT CON/AGG 2023
The VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System combines camera detection with mmWave radar sensors to provide vehicle operators with accurate real-time visual and audio alerts of potential safety threats.
VIA Technologies, Inc. recently announced that it will be showcasing its VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, the largest construction show in North America, which takes place from 14 – 18 March 2023. The VIA booth is located at #10555 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System combines vivid 360° SVS (Surround View System) video with vSenseTM mmWave radar smart sensor fusion technology to provide operators of construction, excavation, and mining vehicles with pinpoint real-time alerts of approaching vehicles, machinery, and people in all weather, lighting, and working conditions.

The VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System is a complete solution that includes an IP67-rated ruggedized waterproof enclosure, up to eight IP69K-rated FOV-190° 720p automotive-grade cameras, up to eight IP69K-rated FOV-150° 77GHz mmWave radar sensors, an 8″ industrial display (1280×720), a high-quality speaker, and a 4G LTE Module Kit for North America. An extensive range of mountings and cables is also available. Highlights include:
- Scalable Design: The VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System can be seamlessly deployed in a wide range of vehicles across your fleet – from loaders, haulers, and excavators to lube trucks, waste management trucks, and high-capacity forklifts.
- Pinpoint People and Obstacle Detection: The system features two configurable Warning and Critical detection zones to notify operators of potential hazards around the left, right and rear sides of the vehicle. Whenever it detects an object or a person in either zone, it displays a color-coded indicator on the operator’s in-cabin screen.
