HD Hyundai Infracore Chile S.A. Holds DEVELON Open Day

The purpose of the event was to strengthen ties with customers and partners, showcase current machinery offerings, and to present the company’s new DEVELON brand.

DEVELON is the new name for Doosan Construction Equipment and the brand aims to continue to provide a higher level of technological development in the market while maintaining competitive prices.

Alejandro Miranda, General Manager of HDIC, stated: "We were delighted to host the event at our premises, creating a special environment for guests. Many of our engineering, spare parts, technical service and commercial staff were present to discuss the brand and share in a pleasant day."




Customers from the mining and construction industries attended the event. Their fleets cover a wide range of equipment and attachments, including 25, 30 and 36 ton crawler excavators, 2.7 to 3.5 ton mini-excavators, and new DB100 backhoe loaders. Partners such as Megamin, Ingersoll Rand and Martimaq also attended and showcased a wide variety of attachments.

Carlos Concha, Commercial Manager of HDIC, explained that they are currently in a transition period. HDIC still commercializes Doosan equipment but it has been receiving DEVELON equipment since May. He said: "We wanted to talk with our clients and learn about their needs and projects, as well as showing them our facilities and equipment for all industry sectors. Through DEVELON, we will incorporate more technology to serve them."




Aftermarket Manager, Roberto León, added: "It is important to be close to clients and to explain to them that DEVELON replaces Doosan with the same top-tier technology and quality, maintaining competitive prices, closeness, fast service speed and broad availability of spare parts." He said that HDIC's construction equipment sales department had experienced significant growth in the last 5 years, and the service department had been providing increased support to meet the higher level of demand.
