French crane rental contractor Foselev SA was asked to dismantle an ageing port crane in Port- La Nouvelle on the Mediterranean. The company sent its most powerful telescopic crane to complete the job – a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 featuring an 80-metre telescopic boom and Y-guying, had to handle individual components weighing up to 122 tonnes.
